  • Rushabh Savla

    The founder of Recoverie started the business at the back of a barbershop 6 years ago in North London with R&D Physio. His mission is simple and stedfast: to inspire & empower people globally. Rush believes in the power of community health, caring for people & working to find solutions to healthcare problems.

    His passion to merge technology, healthcare & a holistic approach has meant he now spearheads innovations at Recoverie & is responsible for the business growth & community outreach projects which give a deeper purpose to our organisation. His involvement with projects in India & Kenya to look after neurologically challenged children & delivering access to welfare, healthcare & education is one of the larger drivers of the mission.

    Clinically Rush is an Advanced Shockwave practitioner & also working in the Men’s Health space.

  • Vera Wong

    Vera, a dedicated clinician with extensive experience, specialises in post-operative and return-to-sport rehabilitation, displaying a profound understanding of individuals recovering from diverse surgical procedures. Her expertise covers all athletic levels, adding immense value to our team.

    While at the NHS, Vera developed a keen interest in chronic pain management and strength training for older adults, employing a compassionate and patient-centred approach to enhance their quality of life through evidence-based interventions.

    Beyond clinical practice, Vera actively contributes to grassroots sports injury prevention, striving to minimise risks for local sports enthusiasts. Her involvement in girls' football coaching reflects her commitment to promoting physical activity and empowering young athletes. Vera's passion for injury prevention and coaching underscores her holistic approach to physiotherapy.

    Central to Vera's practice is a commitment to collaborative care, ensuring clients not only receive optimal treatment but also comprehend their conditions and recovery steps. She empowers clients to take control of their health, fostering ownership and confidence throughout their rehabilitation journey.n goes here

  • Shefali Desai

    Shefali is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She started her career working in the NHS in one of London's largest and most well-reputed teaching hospitals, where she gained a wealth of experience and worked collaboratively with leading Orthopaedic, Rheumatology and Sports/Exercise Medicine consultants. In 2015 she moved into the world of private practice and has since grown personally and professionally, working in positions of clinical leadership to help successfully run thriving Physiotherapy companies in central London and Hertfordshire. Working in the City has allowed Shefali to expand her professional network and contribute positively within corporate ergonomics and the health and wellbeing space of the community around her. 

    Clinically, Shefali particularly enjoys treating spinal, shoulder and lower limb problems and with this comes the opportunity to help people of all ages and physical activity levels with injuries originating from a variety of sports, or occupational/everyday activities. She has significant experience of treating clients with pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions and since becoming a mum herself, she is a big advocate for supporting women through the both the ante and post-natal period. 

    Shefali firmly believes in her mission to work with clients through Physiotherapy; helping them to achieve their goals and lead happier, more active lives. She provides a completely holistic and bespoke approach to each client assessment, advice and treatment pathway. She champions an exercise/strength and conditioning approach to recovery and is trained in both 1:1 and group Pilates, as well as offering manual therapy, taping and shockwave therapy. Outside of work, Shefali is a busy mum of two and is often out and about exploring new places and travelling with her family. When time allows, she loves nothing more than working on her own health and fitness; whether that be a weight training class, circuits, a high-intensity workout or Pilates.

  • Dominick Williams

    Dominick is an enthusiastic and personable Physiotherapist with extensive experience in a number of London leading hospitals. Situated in the Trent Park Clinic, he has a passion for helping people recover, strengthen and surpass their goals.

    Through his diverse clinical experience, Dom takes great pride in assisting people with musculoskeletal and post surgical injuries and preventing future injuries through research based practice. He is driven to help you become the best version of yourself and put the fun into functional rehab and recovery .

  • Urja Shah

    Introducing our newest team member at our Northwood clinic- a collaboration that has been 5 years in the making! 

    Urja is from Perth, Australia and has been a qualified Physiotherapist and Clinical Reformer Pilates Specialist for 8 years. In September 2019 Rushabh was told to call Urja by his client (Urja’s uncle) to have a chat and see what could be possible.

    By the end of the call they were discussing contracts and moving dates for April 2020. The week before Urja was set to move, COVID hit and life had other plans. Urja stayed in Aus and created her own Physiotherapy clinic whilst also running Self Connection & Wellness workshops and retreats locally and internationally in Kenya, Barcelona, London and around Australia.

    Urja has an avid passion for community, connection and empowering people with tools to be their strongest and best self. She has specialised in chronic pain, lower back pain, shoulder injuries and stress related injuries.

    Urja focuses on the WHOLE you in order to make long lasting, impactful change. She can’t wait to help you with your health and wellness goals!

  • Andrew Ghaly

    Andrew is a physiotherapist who is passionate about all things injury rehab and performance health. Andrew completed his Masters in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada before traveling to Australia to get his Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 2017.

    Since then he has spent time working in Sydney, Toronto, and now Perth. Having played American football and rugby union for most of his life, Andrew is no stranger to injury. He is acutely aware of the physical and mental challenges that patients face when injured, and he applies that first hand knowledge and understanding to his work.

    Andrew works to empower clients to understand the rehab process and return to doing the things they love. He has a special interest and strong skillset in ACL injuries, both in reconstructive and non-operative treatment pathways, having had ACL surgery himself in 2019 and 2023.

    Andrew is extremely passionate about bringing an elite level of rehab to the everyday athlete by combining a data-driven approach with strength and conditioning principles to help you bring the best version of yourself to the activities that are meaningful to you.

  • Vishal Patel

    Vishal Patel is an accomplished physiotherapist with nearly two decades of experience. He began his career in 2005 after earning a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy.

    His foundational training was through the NHS Rotational Programme at Southend Hospital, where he developed a broad clinical skill set.

    In 2011, Vishal completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary University of London, which propelled him into advanced roles in elite healthcare and sports settings. His career highlights include working at Harley Street, the Royal London Hospital, University College London, and Crystal Palace Football Club.

    Vishal specializes in Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation, and “Return to Play” strategies. He excels in pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures, particularly for knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, and elbow surgeries. He also has a niche focus on Haemophilia and bleeding disorders, blending clinical practice with research to drive better outcomes. Collaborating with experts in Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Rheumatology, Podiatry, and Haematology, Vishal adopts a holistic, patient-centered approach.

    Beyond clinical work, Vishal is passionate about health tech innovation and has partnered with Pfizer to develop a smart health app. He also enjoys Pilates and meditation, embodying a balanced, wellness-focused lifestyle.

  • Janice

    Jan is a Musculosketal physiotherapist specialising in injury management & rehabilitation being a strong core of her physio approach.

    Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Jan has a degree in exercise and health, which furthered her interest in biomechanics, anatomy and exercise prescription.

    Jan has obtained wide range of physiotherapy management knowledge through working in the NHS, such as acute trauma, chronic pain, elderly population, orthopaedics, and neurological conditions.

    Outside of clinic, Jan has always been active and a sports lover. She has been playing basketball for over 20 years, and is still exploring new sports and activities.

    She is also contracted as a physiotherapist in local and national sports teams. Being an athlete herself and physiotherapist in the sports industry has established exceptional understanding towards variety of sports conditioning. 

    Jan's aim of treatment is for patients to achieve their goals and feel empowered, confident and be able to independently self manage their conditions in the long term.
